1997 Saab 9000 Aero, Manual transmission with low 114Kmiles on it.
All original engine and transmission. Excellent condition inside and out.
I’m a 3rd long term owner and Saab enthusiast. I know the second owner very well and the way he maintained the car. I had 6 Saabs myself, out of which 4 were 9000’s, and 2 where Aero 9000’s. I also had 9-5Aero Wagon and a newer 9-3 Aero SS, all manual transmissions.
This car one is one of a kind. The last model year. Manual and no TCS! One of the best examples left out there if not the best. Always maintained upto quasimotors.com standards. Also I can’t open it for some reason at this time.. sad! ;) It was a 9000 Bible of some sort.
Excellent condition interior. Recaro seats are in excellent condition with no rips/tears and conditioned regularly. It does have an armrest as well. Roofline is in excellent condition and so is the dashboard, No tears, cracks or rips.
All electric works, including power and HEATED seats.
Only 2 minor blemishes on exterior + a few on bumpers. NO BODYWORK, ALL ORIGINAL PAINT! The car was always in the South, mostly in CA and some TX (I Believe) so there’s ZERO rust on the body. When I was putting on antiroll bars about 7Kmiles ago I didn't have to use any special tools/chemicals to unbolt suspension parts. How often do you see that on 97 car?
No mechanical issues. Had a long almost a 4000mile road trip in it last year, though CA, NV and AZ and would go again in a heartbit. Especially when I think of passing someone on a two lane highway... somewhere in Death Valley or close to Great Canyon. Passing... 30 --> 90 before you know it, that's what Saabs are all about!!! :)
Aero is smogged and registered through March 2011 in CA.

-Serpentine belt replaced with both pulleys at 102Kmiles
-Synthetic oil changes regularly
-Power steering fluid changed
-Brake fluid flushed
-Ball joints and tie rod ends replaced
-newer APC solenoid
-K&N Air Filter with drilled airbox
-Tinted windows
-HID Xenon headlights with ballast. White color

-Upgraded sound system with all new speakers, amplifier and headunit. Sounds better than Harman Kardon. Also it's an adult version of the sound system, not the "Wellcome to Tijuana..." style... :) It sounds awesome, but your neighbours will not know unless you drive them :). Has a subwoofer too.
-The car had Bilsetin HD’s shocks and several spring sets all around 60-95Kmiles, at 95K replaced back with original stock suspension. Than added SAS bars. Works purrrrfectly.
-Just replaced DI cassette. The old one works, but misfires on 1st cylinder. Still good for a spare!
-I will include parts that I have left… A few oil filters (I bought those in bulk :), original sway bars with polyurethane bushings, spare back shelf… other misc stuff if you need any of that.
I have some of the service records from before I had it. I have original Saab service record print out from the time the car had warranty. Most of the maintenance I had to do I did myself... I have some reciepts for some stuff, the other we'd have to look/verify visually.
Tires are Yokohama Avid V4S with 15-20Kmiles left to go.
Needs nothing, but a new owner.
Questions?
Car is in San Jose, CA and can be viewed by appointment at Hamilton / Meridian Ave
By the way, I'm asking only $6995! For a modern classic in such shape it's a bargain!!!
But...OK...OK...OK.... I'll look on offers as well.... ;)
